Another one ties the knot!

Stephen surprised my sister Karen last Easter when he dropped to one knee and proposed to her in front of her family. We were all thrilled to say the least! Well Karen took it up a notch and decided to surprise Stephen right back.

You see, Stephen is not a big fan of weddings, and did not want to be involved with the planning. He did, however, want Karen to be happy with their wedding, and hinted that he would not be against having his wedding planned behind his back. So that's what Karen did - and planned an ambush wedding!

In one short month Karen booked the venue (the amazing and beautiful Tennessee Aquarium!), bought her dress, secretly invited all the guests (some came from the UK), booked the caterer, flowers, cake (wedding cupcakes!), music, officiant, and an awesome photographer (Joee Wong!). Stephen found out he was getting married the night before when he was ambushed with a large contingent of family members and friends at dinner the night before the wedding.

On the day of the wedding the sun was shining, we shared laughs and shed tears, and enjoyed good food with the company of family and friends who had assembled to witness this event. Karen looked stunning. The ceremony was moving. The photographer was perfect. And Karen and Stephen tied the knot in one of the most beautiful, memorable events that I will cherish forever. Congratulations Karen and Stephen!
